can someone look into this. when trying to play goldeneye007 i am experencing problems that i do not have when using 3.5 or bellow. Having the wiimote settings set to real wiimote resorts in the wiimote not working in the game. i can press any button on the wiimote to byepass the nintendo safty screen. but after that the wiimote dose not work. whats weird is the keybord works though. i e pressing x skips the logo vidos and pressing arrow keys up and down and t and g allows me to scroll up and down on the save menu after the videos and pressing x takes me to the main menu. but the wiimote is dead. allso using hle resorts in no sound in the videos.
il try 4.0 out later but so far whats the most useful 4.0+ revision ?

With LLE?
Yup
Twilight Princess still takes 4.5-4.7 GHz on Haswell to get full speed most of the time with LLE and EFB to RAM in Hyrule Field.

Overclock your i5 to 4.2ghz and it will most likely run smoothly
Yeah I'm not going to burn my pc down for a wii game just because the freakin sounds affects my fps.

Would rather want that hle fix instead that would be nice.
I always chuckle a little at these responses. What everyone else said. It won't burn down. And a moderate OC with good cooling won't affect the life of your processor.

The HLE "fix" for SMG2 involves rewriting an entire microcode in Dolphin. It's not trivial at all. I'd love to start a bounty for it if anyone is interested in contributing along with me.

A bounty here makes no sense - implementing Zelda HLE is competing with a lot of other valuable projects for my time, and competing with my part time work as well. The only way I could work on Zelda HLE efficiently would be to drop my part time job and work on Zelda HLE instead - which means you'd have to give me a bounty of at least 20 euros/worked hour.

Do a kickstarter.

As a programmer I have some idea of the scale involved, although I won't say I completely do since the spec isn't even fully known and some of it will just take an unknown amount of time to research and debug. It's generally my rule not to argue with the devs since that's a big waste of everyone's time, but I think in this case I'd have to insist that a bounty *does* make sense since it is for exactly the situation you describe (feature competing with lots of others for valuable time). I understand that it would need to be substantial (income replacement) and not some nominal amount. It's important enough to me that I'd contribute money and my time to debug and develop a complete spec for the parts of Zelda microcode used by LoZ: TP. I like Rachel's idea of a kickstarter.
Kickstarter makes more sense.
If it helps, I have some notes observing differences in the Zelda Ucode HLE implementation versus LLE (mostly mail message variations and ucode switching) that might shed some light on any possible developments. I doubt it would amount to much, since I haven't looked at timings, interrupts, and DMA transfers (the last probably affects SMG.a lot) but I figure every little thing helps.
I was using 3.5-2259 prior to 4.0 and found the speed on the now unsupported build to be better, about as good as 3.5 stable.
4.0 gives me stutters. Speed + new-ax-hle, I'll stick to the older build for now Smile
