I get that issue somewhat differently. If I shutdown while it's running, Windows will tell me that it's preventing shutdown. If I cancel the shutdown, Dolphin has its stop emulation prompt up. If I click no, everything's fine. If I click yes, I get this:
Happens to me too. On Windows 8 Pro x64.
Gives out a warning about 0x000007b. This might be related to Visual Studio and what sdk it uses to compile.
I'll have a look, this is most likely an issue with how we handle stopping Dolphin. Please concentrate on other issues.

So does that mean 4.0 won't have fixed audio-loop for MKDD and MG1&2?
Would it be possible to fix the missing shadow-issue from Luigis Mansion?

Not really, but understanding, while I still don't know what's meant by that ..
it means post issues for simple fixes rather than actual emulation related fixes which takes weeks to debug.
for example you click play on Dolphin and but closes Dolphin instead. You switch Audio backends and it crashes the emulator that kind of thing.
Ok thank you for explaining, and sorry for the stupid question ..
Sometimes I don't understand the simplest things I read, must have dyslexia or something ..
I use the same NAND on my real Wii and on Dolphin. The NAND is stored on an HDD and I move it back and forth when needed. This usually works fine, except for the fact that the SYSCONF generated by Dolphin has 4 more settings in it than the one generated by the Wii. One of these settings is IPL.E60, so every time the settings are opened on Dolphin, it complains that it can't find IPS.E60. Maybe it would be better to just grey out the option if a setting isn't found in the SYSCONF file.
I'm not sure if this would count as something that would be good to fix for 4.0 or not.
