That's because dolphin 2.0 has an extremely outdated video backend designed for PS 2.0. A lot of effects couldn't be correctly emulated on PS 2.0 so the backend was moved to PS 3.0. Which your extremely old IGP does not properly support.
Guys, I have both bad and good news.

The good one: Solved the "huge and massive slowdown" in Super Mario Sunshine.

The bad one: I´m using Dolphin 2.0, that it´s a sh***t when talking about graphic rendering of that game.
I know. My post explained both.

Looks like I´ll have to stay with 2.0 until I buy a new card...
Or, better yet, a whole new computer. v_v

At least you don't live in Brazil, where the massive taxes easily prevent you from being able to afford a box fast enough for Dolphin.
The last working build for Intel GMA 945 is r4598 (or r7598, unsure). Anyway, they're pretty old and not supported in the forums anymore... Maybe you can still run some lightweight games at playable speeds, but your CPU doesn't help much...

That is a pretty big difference XD, typo?
@Jhonn: you got confused there. I have the 945GC chipset. And that works only with GMA 950, wich I also have. The GPU is 945, wich you mentioned in your post. Tongue

The gpu is GMA 950. Which you just mentioned in the previous sentence....

r4598 is granted to work with the old Intel GMAs no matter what... Builds after that seems to work fine if you disable "CPU -> EFB access" until r6024, that broke something. After that, some build in r63xx fixed the problem and the things works without issues until r7598 (the last Dolphin revision using pixel shader 2.0). Any build after that will fail with old Intel GMAs, I know that because the time r7599 came I still was playing Wind Waker and Luigi's mansion with my old and crappy computer (that had an Intel GMA 945GC), and in r7599 when the minimum required pixel shader version got to 3.0, breaking support with the old Intel GMAs

@oliverfrancisco: give a try with r6515 with DX9 and "Enable CPU -> EFB access" disabled, it should work (and maybe give you a small speed up)...
