Don't get your hopes up too much. The chances I will find them anytime soon are slim. When I got back from university the first thing I did was try to locate my collection of GC games. I tore the house apart looking for them but still never found them

. Thank god I have backup copies on my PC.
I usually keep things I care about neat. I lose things that aren't important. My room would be organized but when my parents make me clean it they give me a time limit, so I never actually try. Also I share a room with my brother

. In my own home/dorm room I will organize everything greatly. The only things that look neat that are mine now are my games, books, and DVDs. I wish I could organize my magazines but when you share a room you usually don't have space to put stuff. I'm just sick of being under 18
Anyway Nintendo Power was what I read as a kid and when it was cancelled I got a gameinformer subscription and was sad. My favorite part of gameinformer is the Nintendo games and the classic section. Which is what NP was all about.
Well thanks I won't get my hopes up too high but maybe you'll find them when you least expect it. But you should put your games on shelfs so you don't lose them

Enjoy it while it lasts. You'll have a looong time to be over 18.

Yes but when you leave your parents might not. As was the case for me. And a college dorm wasn't anywhere near big enough for me to bring everything with me.
I guarantee that when you move out something will get lost.
That's why I'm not starting my collection until I'm out of the house. I could easily bring what I have (15 GC games, some GBA games, some ds games, and the devices). But your right. I could easily replace what gets lost as long as I stay on my plan for success.
The only thing I ever lost in my room was my virgini- oh, nevermind.
My room is a mess, but I can still find everything game-related (old NP and GameInformer issues, all my games, old systems). Depends on how well you remember putting what where (and how much). I only have a few boxes in my closet ever since we moved to our new house. I never bothered to unpack them and just used them as storage. It's hard to describe, but they're each distinctive enough where I remember "Hey, I left MMX 4 in this box". The only things that are truly MIA are some of my old GB/GBC/GBA game manuals. I have a handful, but I suspect someone threw them out at one point.
You can manage a collection pretty well, especially if you write things down. Though if you forget to make an entry in such an inventory from the very beginning, you'll probably forget about that game entirely and end up misplacing it (perhaps forever :| )
Lost all my old consoles while moving into a new house, NES, SNES and N64, i just feel sad whenever i think about it.
