Plus performance has actually gone up for much of 3.5's life (minus whenever neobrain commits stuff Tongue). It will never be back to 3.0 levels, but performance is something the devs (minus neobrain) try to maintain.

Yeah, no. If you want to run dolphin at full speed, get a better computer. That's the only recommendation you're going to get.
newer builds are more demanding because they added new missing effects

Here comes a New Challenger

Devs look this: @Major is saying, "it's impossible optimizes dolphin to get more performance". Big Grin

I didn't get that. Why (and how) Android port would boost speeds of the PC versions if the architectures are different (ARM vs x86)?
It forces them to think outside the box?
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Tales of Symphonia? Oh, you have to use DSPLLE, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Skies of Arcadia? Oh, you have to use DSPLLE, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Baten Kaitos? Oh, you will have to live with bad graphics rendering, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life? Oh, you will have to play with no text, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Xenoblade Chronicles? Oh, you have to use DSPLLE or a buggy "hacked" build to get proper audio, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with most EA Gamecube games? Oh, you have to use DSPLLE, too bad.
How well does Dolphin 3.0 work with Super Mario Sunshine? Oh, you have to skip a level because of a missing feature, too bad.

But it's faster, surely it's better.
