RDilus,
Why is it the SECOND you hear AGP you flip out on how slow it is, an assumption based entirely on opinion...when in honest truth, you have no IDEA if that's true....If I can play Crysis at 28+ fps at all times...how does that make AGP slow, explain and enlighten me with your "expertise" LOL.
Thelukestir, you've been a great help man...it's playing much faster now. Do you think builds in the future will also create potiental FPS gains as well?...or FPS wise dolphin couldn't go any hire. I'm just curious as to whether i'd need to upgrade PC with specs I currently have.
Thanks!

yeah it has gotten from 5fps in melee to fullspeed + in like a year... ^^
What, a 2.0GHZ DC can play WW full speed?
I need some information on this...
WW plays pretty much full speed for me on my 3.4GHZ Quad Core, but some parts make it dip to 30FPS exactly, but it still says "100%" up top, which is odd, though it is now very slow. Counter is borked, obviously.
I dun get how to run WW full speed though...
I have all the settings you've shown on the first page and I don't get full speed all the time, sometimes it even goes to like 54-55, but it shows some obvious lag and audio mismatch.
I highly doubt you're getting fully speed. on a 2.0GHZ Dual Core, you just think you are.

not all the time... very rarely outside do i get fullspeed... and what cpu do you have intel quad or what

stop talking about stuff you dont know.
please go and look on the sourcecode.... you can have hundreds of fps and the game is still running slow.
i got that situation in mario sunshine for example : 400fps and slow.
also fps -> speed depends on the situation of the game.
while i need ~80fps in zelda WW for fullspeed outdoors, it >>100 indoors.
dolphin shows the same picture over and over again(but framecounter counts up), until the new one is calculated.
if 60fps = fullspeed, its nothing more then luck.
and we have the possibility to see the real speed : use a old revision.
as 3300-3400 is not slower(for me even faster) you can compare it easy.

dude my fps never goes over 60... do you have throttle off??/
he has the frame limiter and throttle off. You should stop being the fool. The fps counter is broken!

... i know it doesnt show the right max fps for the games... get off my back... EVERYONE KNOWS... but 60fps is still fullspeed...
30 or 60fps is full speed for ntsc, and 25 or 50fps is full speed for pal. However, 400fps in dolphin != super fast speed.
Quote:30 or 60fps is full speed for ntsc, and 25 or 50fps is full speed for pal
it was before 3545 (?) but not today.

you probably use vsync or fullscreen mode.
throttle works on some games(not all) to let the game not go beyond max speed.
but that does not mean it does not go beyond 60fps.
like my example : mario sunshine with 400fps.
but nearly all images are duplicates.
The games runs with ~20fps on that specific place (start point in delfino plaza) as it did in 34xx, while 25fps is fullspeed on pal.
thats an effect of the framebuffer method that is currently used.
the gpu draws the same frame over and over again until the cpu is finished and the next frame is rendered.
but those equal-double-rendered frames still count as frames for the fps counter.
