Shit, I've been found out. Yes that's me of course lol. I normally don't read any manga, but started to read SnK somewhat and got pretty interested in mangas.

No one in their right mind (except mindless children playing the games) watches that stuff for serious anime entertainment with plot, action, and character interaction. Pfft. My sister and I have so much fun watching it because we mock it so much and insert our own jokes all the time. Sometimes we've spent more time ROLFing (literally, we fell out of our chairs a couple of times) at our jokes than we did watching the show. Although we do this with just about anything we can watch (Sci-Fi and Lifetime channel movies) Pokemon just has so much ripe potential. Though I guess you can't do this sort of thing by yourself; you basically need a twin or something (we're not twins, but we're practically on the same wavelength). Plus, Pokemon has some of the craziest GIF material I've ever seen.
Lol, having an imouto who's into anime seems pretty fun. I used to lol at Pokemon too when I was younger with my bro's, but now I'm only watching anime alone, or with friends sometimes.
So are you watching it with english dubs or subbed?
@Garteal - English dubs. It's easier to make fun of Pokemon if it's in your native language (and you don't have to read subtitles constantly). Fwiw, my sister's not big on anime, just a couple of shows that we used to watch together as kids (Zoids was one of them). Again, anything we can get our hands on we insert our own jokes. Two peas in a pod
Also forgot to mention that I was once into Hamtaro (I kid you not). Can't believe I used to wake up early to watch this. I even got my best friend into it. How that happened, I do not know :p

I remember reading The King of Thorns a few months ago (disregard the adaptation, it had a different storyline), it was a survival horror scifi story about some virus, a really great read. I remember thinking that if Resident Evil 4 was ever made into a comic, this would be it's ideal image.
Old Anime . I guess it's quite popular in EU , isn't it

Fwiw Death Note and Code Geass don't appeal to me. Watched a couple episodes of both, and I did not feel like I wanted to watch more. Nothing wrong with them (e.g. I can see why others like it), they just didn't interest me.
LOL XD i'm a very hard person to please, and i also don't give out high scores anyhow, you can check out my score distribution below:
As far as my ratings go anything up to a 7 on my list is something i really liked watching but had a couple of things missing to make it go that extra mile, fwiw, i've checked your list and you don't have that many titles. When i first watched both of these shows i actually rated them higher than they are now but after watching a few other titles, i was left with no choice than to lower them to accommodate higher powers. Also keep in mind most of these popular titles are licensed by companies that have heavy affiliates in the west so the rest of the world can easily get access to DvDs and even english dubbed versions, i'm sure you can remember all those JRPG's that never made it out of Japan
My advice to you is try to watch a lot of more titles and see if you still feel Deathnote and Code Geass are the best of the best.
