So, the anime I've been enjoying this season has been Kiznaivers. It has kind of a Danganronpa feel to it. Basically a group of kids get connecting in a way that lets them share their physical pain, leading to hilarity and some interesting commentary on human interactions. Also, im in love with the theme song. It has a very trance like feel to it <3

My favorite this season is definitely Re;Zero.
Oh and a honorable mention for Mayoiga. What a trainwreck it was.

A few of my friends talked me into watching Naruto last year since I hadn't looked at it in a bout a decade and I got back into anime thanks to them. So, unlike all of you, I am catching up. I've watched most of everything that's ever been on Adult swim and a few others.
This spring I've mainly been hooked on Assassination Classroom and My Hero Academia. Besides that Akame Ga Kill was pretty good and it's even convinced my GF that we should buy the manga. Also, feel free to give some suggestions(I've watched most of everything on Celesians list).

I love how they set it up stereotypically, and then shatter your expectations bY the end of the 1st episode! THEY DI'D A FANTASTIC JOB with that setup!06-27-2016, 12:18 AM

I only got like 91 anime I've seen/completed or dropped. I'm very selective but that might change...

It's very handy for keeping track of what you've watched and will help with the recs. For this season though, I'd say give Koutetsujou no Kabaneri and Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu a watch if you haven't already.
I thought Akame ga Kill was quite enjoyable too. Though the manga readers would beg to differ due to it not adapting the source completely, but eh, since I don't *know* the source I don't really care.
Seen people enjoy Hero Academia a lot so I suppose it's time to give it a try. Saw Zee drop Bungou Stray Dogs the other day and decided to pick it up to see why he did that. It's not something I would've picked up (most likely due to its name) but it's actually pretty decent.

Okay, here is my favorite part.
Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
The scene where he is crying, and in tears because of how the events between the sisters played out, and he chooses to kill himself by jumping off the cliff in order to reach an ending he liked.

That was, for me, the deepest part of the anime. It almost kind of reminds me of a dating sim kind of, how he keeps getting bad endings, and has to replay the routes in order to get a happy ending. As a fan of the dating sim genre myself, I connected to this in a way, and wondered if I would do the same thing in that situation. (of coarse my answer would be hell no) XDSpoiler: (Show Spoiler)The scene where he is crying, and in tears because of how the events between the sisters played out, and he chooses to kill himself by jumping off the cliff in order to reach an ending he liked.

Yeah that part was pretty powerful especially if you keep everything that had happened up to that point in mind.
I like how his relation with the sisters ended up being considering they wanted to kill (and actually did) him because they didn't trust him.
I still wonder what the hell was after Subaru after he had settled in the mansion for the first time. The second time can be explained as he died after visiting the village.

Don't open this if you haven't watched this one yet, okay?
Re;Zero episode 13 stuff: (Show Spoiler)
But seriously Subaru, you dun goofed up big time this episode.
Really should've thought things through a bit better if he couldn't sit around waiting for that meeting to end.
That part at the meeting where he made a giant fool of himself was quite cringey.
As if that wasn't enough embarrassment, Subaru does not know of any limits and continues to make a giant fool of himself infront of Emilia.
You don't win her heart by acting like that man.
After that whole ordeal I was actually hoping and rooting for Subaru to kill himself or something. He messed up so hard unnecessarily and broke his trust and friendship with Emilia.
Really looking forward to the next episode to see how it all plays out.

I think this episode really shows the psychological effect all of this is having on subaru. Mixed with the frustration of being weak and Emilia not wanting him involved in the selection, I think the way it played out with him going apeshit was perfect. It's almost as if the author thought "Okay, how would this play out in every other anime, and how can I do the exact opposite. Loved it. If I had to guess, I think he will consider killing himself next episode, but will decide to accept what he has done and find a way to fix things. Although what he said was bad in both situations, a reset point hasn't been set unlike the last time he killed himself so I don't think he will do it. If I had to guess, maybe he will find a way to get stronger, though with this anime, I get the feeling it's not going to go down that route. I feel like subaru's weakness is kind of what makes him special, but I could be wrong. Totally can't wait until episode 14! (This anime is a 24 episode season right?)

The Re:zero anime has been making slight deviances from the manga, which makes it all fresh to see, which is really nice, which still sticking to the source.
