So I marathoned this and enjoyed it for the most part. It started out really good and had some good moments in the downwards spiral. The part after Satoru's first 'investigation' was really messy though.
Overall a 6.5/10 for me.
Yeah, it was definitely a bit rushed. It also didn't help that both of Satoru's voice actors are brand-new, and in my opinion, didn't give the character much life.
I finished it today, and got the feels.
2nd half wasn't great, had so much potential.

Yeah, I saw a lot of people saying the crammed a bunch of chapters into the last episodes.

I personally had no issues with this. I welcome fresh talent if they're good. Especially since the same set of (famous) VA's will become stale after a while.
Similar to how western games are usually dubbed by the same VA's.
I'm not saying the VAs were bad because they were new--I'm saying they were both bad AND new. I've seen plenty of cases where a brand new or little-experienced VA does an excellent job with their early work, but this was not one of those times. I especially think of that time where Satoru was being arrested after talking with Airi, and he screams "もどれ"; it felt very forced.
Felt natural and like a regular anime session for me still. I didn't know they were new until you mentioned it above either.
I only understand some words only, so it's probably a different situation for you.
