You guys haven't seen it? its the most talked about show of the current season, way better than One Punch Man, its MAL score is already at 9.08 and it's already projected to kick off FMA: Brotherhood off the top spot before it ends.

Yeah a movie version has even been announced
It's on my list, but not on the gotta-watch-asap one. Rankings are one thing, but they need not apply in general (my prime example would be Strait Jacket that has a rather average score but weaves multiple complex storylines together and packs them into 3 OVAs, with plenty more left to imagination; deserving a much higher rank based on impact).
Other than that, the current season is a little weak on new series imo. Grimgar looked promising, but atm it looks like it's about to stumble, fall down and get stuck lying in the dirt. Dimension W had this badass vibe too, but then they stuffed a little too much of a female and embarrassed android in. Plus cont'd seasons, but whatever.

On a personal level FMA is far from being the best I've seen but it's definitely very good and it remains the highest scored show on a website with almost 3 million users so beating it has to be an achievement.

i have the same thing. its good, but far from the best...
fate/sn, fate/zero and ofc the kara no kyoukai series beat it by far. even rurouni kenshin does imo.
so idk where what those websites are thinking. there is so much more complex and moving anime's out there.
