Started to watch it last week-end, finished it today (12 episodes is so short :<). Watched it because someone recommended it to me, had some "generic shounen" feeling when starting to watch the first episode, turns out it's pretty far from that. Enjoyed it a lot as well, wouldn't say it's great but I definitely had some good fun.

Might start reading the manga since apparently the anime diverges quite a bit to have a semi-closed ending after 12 episodes.

Fair enough, though to be honest, try to find a 'similar' anime that doesn't. Most of these have the nakama thing going.
It is overused yes, but at least the battles and such don't take a billion episodes in Fairy Tail.

Good to hear. That's what matters. Same applied to me, the first three episodes or so weren't really doing it for me, but I'm glad I kept watching.
That's interesting, thanks for sharing. Curious how the source material actually is, so I guess it's time to start reading those.

If you're open to suggestions, then give Nobunaga the Fool a try if you don't mind the setting, mechs, etc.

As for me... got to episode 14 in Nobunaga the Fool which is very interesting to me so far. I admit it took a bit to get into it, but once you get to a certain point.... you'll see.
Nisekoi 15 was the lowest point in the anime to me. Still good, but not as good as the other episodes. I... don't really like the 'new' girl.

Decided to randomly give more anime a try and Fuuuin Ishin Dai Shogun was one of those. After two episodes I found it to be 'Nobunaga-ish' but a lot more 'meh'. Plenty of fanservice and an erm... 'interesting' plot.
Mekakucity Actors was the other randomly selected anime. Only got to watch one episode, but it has my interest. The main? protagonist looks like a kid version of Hei.

Lastly I 'marathon-ed' through Highschool of the Dead. It's something I even forgot I had seen a couple of years ago and it was mostly fresh watching it again.
Ton of fanservice, but they're open about it and it's basically noticeable right off the bat. I liked it and am (still) waiting for a season 2...
If you're looking for stuff in this new season give 'Mahouka kouko no rettousei' or 'Bokurawa minna de Kawaisou' a try, they're my favorites so far, others worthy of mention include Akuma no Riddle, Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Haikyuu, Histugi no Chaika, No Game No Life and Soul Eater Not.

Larfin_Man

Some of my top: Black Lagoon, Lucky Star, Elfen Lied, Eureka Seven, Sword Art Online (first half...), Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist (both seasons are great), Fate Zero, No. 6 and plenty more amazing ones I can't think of...
Welp, I finished the english dub of naruto shipuden
You fast.
Yer, now Imma start the subs :p
Not really anime, but watched Summer Wars during my last 4h train ride, found it pretty fun.

Also can't believe I missed the manga news of the month: HxH is coming out of hiatus \o/

Anime enough if you ask me :p
Sidonia no Kishi has this Biomega feeling to it, but even otherwise I'd say its among the better ones for this season. Also, Mekaku City Actors; starting slow but might get back at us like Durarara.

I put my money on him releasing chapters for 6 months then going back on hiatus.

Sidonia is a show i regret not watching but because of my stupid rule of maximum number of shows to watch per season, i'll have to leave it for another time :-(
