I also watched Code Geass and Code Geass R2. It was great. Lelouch reminded me of Light Yagami, but Lelouch ir more in the good side

Yeah, Ghibly movies are great, My Neighbor Totoro is a masterpiece imo.
Also been reading Liar Game (Manga), it is unbelievable, one of the best psychological piece i've ever seen anywhere.

First images of Attack on Titan for the 3DS.
Looks... okay I suppose for a 3DS title.

Also watched episode 22 a while ago and it's definitely getting better now. Hopefully 23 will be even better.

That looks like it's gonna fail so bad, good anime = bad video game and vice versa. SAO PSP game sold very well btw
Episode 24 is next, 23 has been out since sunday.

>Implying Shingeki no Kyojin is a good anime to begin with
But seriously, it looks decent from the screenshots. I don't know who the devs are, so I can't comment on that. More importantly is the gameplay. If they can capture the atmosphere and tenseness of the anime, then it'll probably do good since the anime is pretty popular now.
And yes, I've been slacking off the newer anime because I was watching/catching up on Dragon Ball Z. Finished Blood Lad and Naruto late and still haven't watched episode 23. Will probably do so tomorrow.
Sword Art Online is an amazing concept done horribly wrong. Hopefully Log Horizon or whatever it was called will fill the hole.
Japan continues to show their wrong taste. Speaking of Japan, there was a typhoon which caused floods. I hope things will calm down over there.

Here comes a rant from a spaniard (me).
Do any of your friends regularly buy manga/anime? I don't know a single one. It makes me sad to see all those potential customers who only download manga and anime and don't help our publishers. Many series have been cancelled in Spain because of low sales. Gintama is the best example, it only reached the 16th volume. Other ones I remember: Nogami Neuro, Liar Game, Sidooh...
There aren't even translated scans of Sidooh. I think I'll wait for the italian version of the last 3 volumes.
The anime situation is much worse (many different manga series are released after all). Only few animes get licensed here every year. Most of them are Ghibli films or re-releases. I guess we'll never have Gundam 00 or Code Geass around here
.
One publisher tried to release Fate/stay Night + the film in Blu Ray through crowfunding. They needed 32000€ and they only got the 7%. Project cancelled.
It seems that the best selling anime here are Dragon Ball, Evangelion and Saint Seiya. Madoka Magica worked very well too.

Hmm... haven't really spoken to them but as far as I know, they don't. They did buy some manga's every now and then though.
The main problem with purchasing is that most of the time it's just not available in our countries. Importing them costs a lot of money.
I don't mind my country not licensing anime because they'd run it with the dubs anyway. I just want a proper anime channel which broadcasts anime with their proper dubs and has English subs. I haven't watched TV in quite a while, but the only anime they're showing here is probably Pokemon.
I might shell out some cash for the new BD release of Steins;Gate and Code Geass if they're accessible. Same goes for the Visual Novel of Steins;Gate which should be coming soon.
Those will be my first BDs and VN.
