Honestly, taking such a simple and straightforward storyline as that of sword art onlines' is extremely hard to mess up in my opinion, so i don't know what the hell the guys that made SAO were thinking, hopefully this one will be better.

Log Horizon literally copied the setting and story of SAO, so they better throw in their own ideas otherwise it'll be a shipwreck like SAO.

Sure, why not, apart from them making her seem like a mary sue, i'd say she's one of the more decent characters there.

Really? before, after watching an ep i would usually go to the forums to see what other people thought about it but from time to time there were idiots there who refuse to use spoiler tags and mess up an entire show for me. Since i don't visit the forums anymore, i don't have an idea what the general consensus of a show is, although on the upside it helps me maintain a non biased view of the show

The only conversations i've had about Mikasa were with 2 other people over profile messaging and they both like her character a lot, you can see that the animators think the same from all the badass camera angles and facial expressions they usually feature her in If you also check out her character page on MAL, she has the highest character favorites amongst all the characters in the show (Levi is a close second). I do agree, i find her obsession over Eren annoying a times and i also find Eren's rejections even more annoying (seriously? why?), as it is now she's my favorite character in the show but as far as characters go, they don't really have too a great ones when compared with other shows (et la Lelouch and Light ).

Ah yes, the MAL community does seem to like Mikasa somewhat and Eren too strangely.

The mangaka's favorite character is Jean actually, but they do seem to give Mikasa some special treatment lol.
I like Mikasa too for the fact that she's grown up well :3 and is skilled with a sword.

The reason I don't want her to be so sticky to Eren is also for this reason.

But damn, I saw some episodes of DBZ today (SSJ3 transformation, Mystic Gohan, etc) and it's still awesome.
