Damn, got everything covered huh.
You might want to change your Gameboy Color emulator soon once Shonumi finishes his masterpiece.

Good. We need you to focus and spend your time on development. :P
How's it going with the software renderer?
You haven't updated us anymore. :(

Well some of the emulators I guess he'd like to have the latest version of with the exception for some emulators which I've mentioned (Project64, Visual Boy Advance, MagicEngine etc.)
However everyone's free to use whatever they like, I'm not stopping anyone.

As for Nestopia, last official release (1.40) seems to be June 11th 2008 (http://nestopia.sourceforge.net/) and the project seems to be pretty much dead these days unless I have missed something?

@ Garteal

I vaguely remember something about Shonumi making a Game Boy/Game Boy Color emulator but thought that it was only for Linux.

@ LordVador

Cool! My first emulator I used was Nesticle back in 1999. Gee I wonder why I stopped using it Big Grin

Tbh I don't like many of the project management decisions, but well.. it's yet another ector project which won't change in that regard for another few years. Part of the reason I'm still interested in Dolphin development comes from the fact that we are actually moving forward recently in that aspect.

I'll reply to this in the Programming Discussion Thread.
nestopia is being updated still:

I keep consoles, in hopes that in the far future, it can sell for a high price as an antique, it'd be nice if my great grand kids can use that to pay for college or something.

Just like Visual Boy Advance, Nestopia have now suffered the fate of being forked.
I'm not saying it's entirely bad, but it's not great either.
How would you know if you haven't tried it?

Don't want to know either.

I just don't like it when people fork other peoples original work. Yes they probably improve things, I get it but can I trust that they have good intentions. If they're so eager why not just make their own emulators instead from scratch.
If it ain't from the original author I don't trust it.

I guess you didn't quite get the spirit of the GPL.
