Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Well, it seems that you didn´t understand the issue. I will try to explain it again :

I start Dolphin (3.5 stable) and start any game. Everything´s going fine and there´s no error. I hit the icon "Stop" to change the game, and there appears the program crash message: (Dolphin has found a problem and needs to be closed. If it is in full process, you may lose the data you are working with. For more information about the error, click here).


That´s what happens. I´m sorry that I can´t explain very good the issue, but that´s what I get from the error.

It only happens when you hit the stop button? Does it happen when you hit esc?

Sorry to pick up such an old thread, but I´ve just checked something about the emulator stoping issue.
That error seems to only hapen in Windows XP, since right now I have stopped Dolphin when playing a game and the error (Dolphin.exe has found a problem and needs to be closed) no longer appeared.
Is the error related then to the way the OS handle the emulator?
Or it´s just that the emulator has more compatibility with newer OS?
