In cases like the Sonic game you have mentioned, these games run natively at 30 FPS instead of 60.
Also: Mario Kart D.D. runs fine with LLE audio or with HLE audio? (with HLE audio it´s normal to have full speed in that game.

).

Mario Kart D.D. with LLE audio, just as Donkey Kong Returns does (I follow the wiki).
But damnit.. Mario kart Wii keeps crashing!

Do you have DSP on thread enabled?

I do, because it helps speed up almost all games I checked (except F-Zero). Doesn't effect Mario Kart Wii unfortunately in any way.
Well that's why it crashes then XD
I said it doesnt effect it in ANY way; so without DSP on thread it crashes all the same.

I already did that - didn't work
I've even tried dumping a PAL game instead of NTSC - no change. All other -before mentioned- games work really well. This is the only one that crashes.
If this game crashes, try the stable version (3.5). I play MK Wii on 3.5 with the recommended settings and HLE (not on thread) and have never had a crash. In my limited experience, this game seems to be more demanding games on the GPU than other games so perhaps you need to keep an eye on your GPU performance/drivers/temps.
Also make sure you disable cheats to test as they can cause issues.
Additionally do not use save states if you are using them. Load a native save (memory card) to see if you get the same results.
Also, exactly how did you redump your game? It may give us clues to assist if it is a bad dump.
I fixed Mario Kart Wii!
I now use DX11 and it doesn't lock up. Settings:
- disable AA
- multiple of 640x528
- framelimit auto
- DSP on thread (removed the last hickups)
- HLE audio
I'm gonna check all other games, to see what the performance impact is - compared to DX9. But I'm happy it now works perfectly @60fps!
thanks for all your help guyz
