8Gb(2x4GB) is overkill already , I say 4GB (2x2GB) is "good enough"
More Ram doesn't mean you will get more performance , you know
You should buy Gskill Ripjaws 2x4GB or 2x2GB and Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti Boost
GTX 650 has no future proof , GTX 650 Ti Boost is much faster
I dunno, I'm frequently at 80-85% of ram usage with my current 8GB. I want to start out with 8 then upgrade to 16 later. I do generally have a lot of crap running at once.

The graphics card is something I really want to get a cheap as possible. Easy to upgrade later on, and I'm already over budget on the processor / motherboard.
In that case I'd say don't get a card at all, the GPU on the CPU should be enough to hold you off
I was thinking that... How does Dolphin cope without a GPU?
But you do have a GPU >.>, it should work fine upto x2 IR in most games
Ok I'll rephrase, how does the in built GPU in the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard work in Dolphin.
Integrated Intel HD 4600 is inside CPU , not inside mobo
Older Intel CPUs like Core 2 duo , Core 2 Quad do not have integrated GPU but onboard GPU (locate on mobo)
Intel moved onboard GPU to CPU long time ago . Technically , current Intel CPUs are APUs
Intel HD 4600 can handle 2.5xIR in most games except GPU intensive games : Mario Kart , Xenoblade , SMG .... A graphic card like GTX 650 Ti Boost or GTX 660 is needed to run SMG with high resolution (4xIR)
Ok sounds good. I may just forgot about the dedicated graphics until I feel the need for it. The at least I can keep an eye out for a good deal. It'll also look a little better on the bank statement. Wife is already questioning WTF newegg is.
Just get a cheap one. For $100 you can buy a graphics card that is massively faster than an integrated GPU and you'll have piece of mind. I highly doubt an Intel HD 4600 will handle more than 1x or 1.5x IR in SMG.

Just grab an AMD HD 7750 and be done with it. Not sure why but I can't get your PC part picker page (now there's a tongue twister for ya) to load right now.
Something like this?

The biggest problem I have with my graphics in my laptop is that the screen didn't fit on my TV. Would like to stick with something NVIDIA just so that I don't have to go through the same crap as I did before with my current AMD.

Problem is I know nothing about graphics cards, I don't get how a 2GB can be cheaper than a 1gb. Speeds and what each attribute affects what.

... additional thought, I want to go all out. Would like to be able to play twilight princess and comparatable games at full 4x IR comfortably. What card would allow me to do that paired with a overclocked 4670k?
