Quote:50-150 bucks. so 30 fps is not good enough? how much fps would i get if i get a Nvidia 9500 GTX? will my cpu bottleneck it?

how much fps ?
where ?

zelda tp in hyrule... maybe 2 or 3 if you are lucky.

paper mario in starting screen with watchdog hack... hmm over 9000 ?

also keep in mind that dolphin does not use the grapics card very much.

if yours got 2.x opengl, stick to it. cpu power is all that matters and your cpu is much to weak for most games.
I'm getting 15fps outside and 25-30 indoors on Zelda the WW and it is very playable for me on a the single core processor in my sig. I did find a version that seems to run quicker for me on this rig and it's R3785. Other versions seem to be much slower.
there's no such thing as a 9500gtx

if you dont find something that fits your needs, tell us your budget.

without that, you cant say anything as it goes from 100$ to 1000$++
First off, what socket are you running and Laptop or Desktop?
Secondly, what is your budget.
Only thing I would recommend Intel on, personally, is the i7. On the rest AMD is usually a lil bit better.
Ahh i Screwed up with my other Post, Here's the other 1:
