Why try to fix it? Well, because it didn't work. Our goal here isn't to make an emulator that best suits your desires to play games. We want to make a good emulator that properly emulates the console. Sometimes that means emulating new things that were ignored previously, or removing old hacks that were fast but inaccurate. Sometimes this means slowing down the emulator for no noticable improvement. But just because you didn't notice a problem before doesn't mean there wasn't one. If you want to use 367, go for it, but don't ask us for help when something doesn't work.
You are insane if you don't think gaming performance should take the first spot of importance over anything else.

Dolphin is pretty accurate and focusing on accuracy in most cases of which a lot of people will never notice over performance is retarded.

Pretty accurate, and yet still can't even boot every game, let alone play them fully without serious issues.

If you want buggy garbage that runs fast, try 2.0. Otherwise get a real cpu and play with much higher compatibility, still at full speed. Sorry, i don't have a single fuck to give for people who can't run mario galaxy 2 at full speed on their $300 laptop.
lol, I'd bet money my PC is better than yours.

Also, learn 2 code.

A good emulator should be accurate and fast and not one or the other.

I play my 25 titles just fine with superior performance than your shitty revs (Degasus, Delroth, and Skidau know how to code), soooo yeah.

Unless your profile is wrong, it's not.

I'm working on it.

Speed is relative. Obviously it should be as fast as it can, but sacrificing accuracy for that is typically not a good idea.

Um, what? Except for one small issue that was fixed within a day, I've never committed any code that slowed down emulation.
Okay..this thread had a very awkward turn, also I know you're banned now and probably won't see this arwing but you're a jerk (for lack of a more offensive insult for respect towards the Dolphin community) and I regret having taken your side.
Don't get me wrong. If using a older version gets you much more speed, without causing problems in the game you are playing, then by all means, do so. There's nothing wrong with that. But moving forward, it really doesn't make sense to focus on speed over accuracy. If a game works fine in one version, it always will, and you can continue using that version if you need something faster. But many games still have serious issues, which will require more accurate (and possibly slower) emulation to make work right.

It's not like performance is even dropping fast enough to even really matter. All games can still be played on the latest revisions at full speed on the right cpu. If you can't afford to, or otherwise choose not to keep your computer up to date, then you can't really expect to run the latest software well. That's life. Deal with it.
I understand your point and what you are trying to say and you're right by all means, I'm not trying to disagree with you nor be bitchy and whine over the fact that the latest revision drops my fps. I just started this thread because I'm new to Dolphin and wanted to check if this was a normal thing to happen, the concept of an emulation is to come close to or surpass what it is trying to emulate, and over playability and stable fps this refers more to issues, bugs and glitches. Dolphin tries to emulate the Wii as closely as possible on those factors, keeping up with is is all up to the user. What I'm trying to say is that I know what you are trying to say and agree with you. I never had any intentions of starting to bitch and complain over unstable fps because I respect everyone who has made Dolphin happen.
It's good that way . The only reason to remind yourself to upgrade a high-end PC every couple of years Tongue
Will do, and for Dolphin it would be more than a pleasure buying better gear in the future Smile
