It's not taboo,
not like Dolphin Pro it's just that the branch is experimental and it hasn't been merged to master yet, thus we really don't want people running around asking for support on unsupported features. While it's preferable that everyone wait until it's ready at any rate nothing is stopping anyone from trying it out themselves, as this thread demonstrates.
EDIT: What??

How did you ninja me, neobrain? Rats...
Any word on how to get this to work with modded games? (Brawls Project M for example)
Does that even support wifi?
I never got them to work, perhaps he had the codes already when he dumped his NAND?

Hello,
I've seen new revisions were commited on the wii-network branch during the last week.
I wanted to give them a try however, I cannot seem to get online using them (tried rev 1466, 1841 and 1842)
When trying to access online, I get a 20100 Error Code.
(I only tried Mario Kart Wii.)
I had no issues connecting with previous versions (rev 1382 and older)
Is there anything different to do ?
Thanks.

Change the file extension of your certs to .pem.
changing it to .pem works but wfc fc codes still doesn't work in mkwii
