I clicked on view all options. That implies that I'll be able to see all of the options.
You're not understanding me. There are several configurations to choose from. Once you pick one you pick parts for that specific configuration. Different configurations have different parts available to pick from. You seem to be looking at the cheapest configuration. Here, check this page:

Actually, you're not understanding me. That page doesn't exist in the UK version of the site. I said I can only see it with an i3. I never said that it was like this for the rest of the world.
Interesting. You're indeed right. It seems they only sell the lowest end configuration in Europe.

Well the current alienware x51 uses ivy bridge cpus not haswell, that's what threw me off. So I guess turtlefu was wrong then, not you.
