Even if you are using C6/C7 on a desktop for some strange reason an older PSU isn't going to give you any major issues with it as long as it's a good unit. It's not as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be.
That is likely true. I have not experienced this problem myself or heard of anyone who personally has, I've only read about it and theoretically, the problem makes sense. Then again, most people with Sandy and Ivy don't upgrade to Haswell since you have to get a new board and it isn't typically that much better.
Okay one last question. Do i need to overclock this to play games like Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Brothers, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl with 4 player multiplayer (I plan on overclocking eventually)?

Anybody?
For multiplayer you might, but you shouldn't for single player.

Those will run full speed without overclocking.
Does anyone know why intel prices skyrocketed? Huh

Amd prices seemed to have gone up as well for vishera.
They're the same price they've always been on newegg and scan.

They're fixed now. It was weird. A fx-8350 was $240 a i5 -4670k was $289 and a i7 was $414! This was on newegg.com

I think it's my computer! a i5-4670k is $269 and a i7 is $389! On my phone it's fine.
