It's not just after 90 minutes that glitches in the audio are introduced. Listen to this audio dump of a sine wave. The sound is perfect before it hits the mixer, but then some very noticeable pops get introduced to the audio, even in the first minute.

@moosehunter: Does this also happen with the wip build posted by degasus in the previous post?

Yes

Edit: The 1:30 crackling is gone in the build Degasus posted.
I can also confirm this on Zelda SS using LLE audio for me it started to crackle and get worse until the games audio was totally drowned out I just used a ingame save(no save states) closed dolphin and started it up again and that got rid of it for a while.

I will test on that build you posted

I think degasus still wants to work on that fix though - improving the resampling and maybe adding sound stretching at the same time. Could some more people confirm that degasus' build fixes the problem?
"sound stretching" sounds fine, so does anyone want to test this build: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/195fb667502f1a421821dd13864f1a14a8a809fc/

Do you think sound stretching should be optional?

Edit: don't try this build with the openal backend as it will stretch twice
The time stretching sounds fine to me. What did you want tested? Is this just the previous build you posted with time stretching added in?

And the popping I was talking about in post 31 disappears when you set the framelimit to audio.

Edit: It seems there's a audio delay of just over .5 seconds in your build.
@moosehunter

That's a known issue. Random pops solved by setting the framelimit to audio. It's not related to the 1h30m thing. ....probably.
Hmm, I hadn't heard about it before, but since it causes pops every second or so, I thought it might be something worth fixing.
I am testing that build now (195fb667502f1a421821dd13864f1a14a8a809fc). Will let you know if the static goes away.

I must say though every sound effect so far has been .5 to 1 second off making none of the sound effects match what actually happens in game. I know I am being nit picky but that is a pretty big deal.

Will update with my results on the static Smile
