Hi, I'm curious if the FX-6300 combined with the Radeon 7770 will run lower end games on low settings. I checked the benchmark but didn't see a slot for the 6300. Dolphin isn't a primary goal for me, just something I was curious about. Thanks!

As you've already known , 6300 is much slower than 8350
6300 is on par with A10 5800k in Dolphin (Base on
Cinebench R10 Single Threaded Benchmark )
Please note that Dolphin is a dual core application
I recommend FX 6350 over FX 6300 , FX 6350 has higher clock speed (though you can overclock FX 6300 if you don't want to pay for extra clock speed)

If you're interested in dolphin grab an i3 instead.
i3 can't OC . If he OC his FX 6350 , i3 will be left in the dust
Go with the 6350, or if you can't just overclock (you can overclock the 6350 too).
If your gonna overclock, get a decent air cooler. If your crazy like me or some other people like OCN, then buy this and a whole bunch of other parts that will give your comp a cooling system similar to a car:

Thanks everyone, I've decided to go with the FX-6350. Seems like it comes with the FX-8350 cooler.
