I know. I've had some time to mess with the V45 drivers and it fails in terribly new ways.
its been a while since I've been here. Are there any new developments that make the Galaxy S4 less of a pain to work with?
not really unfortunately, there's many improvement related to the emulation speed, but the gles backend is still not working as it should
I've downloaded the latest automated build from
https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/ which is a great improvement over the current play store version.
The OpenGL driver is now working much better for me with a very noticabe speed improvement.
Theres no on screen buttons though? So I have mapped my volume up and down to start and b.
Im trying to find a good video capture program so I can upload some videos :-)
Its using 2 cores of the Snapgragon 800 with about 50-60% usage on each, (and thats with perfmon running as a floating window).
If there is anyway to get the on screen buttons back? And can anyone recommend a good video capture program from the play store?
Anyway keep the the awesome work Sonic, if you need any testing done just let me know :-)
The on screen buttons have been removed while looking for a better solution for them.
On screen buttons will be back with the next play store version.
The reason for the cores not being fully utilized tends to show we are GPU driver limited.
Thanks mate, re the keys I have paired a dual-shock controller and mapped all the keys, so I have that sorted.
I've just got windwaker past the intro..
Is the save game data compatible with the desktop version? I may try skipping a few games past the intro to get into the games.
Soon as I find a video capture app ill upload some videos. They are still slow obviously, but a definite improvement. Baring that I'll grab another phone and just video the screen manually. It would be nice to get the fps counter back up to see how fast it is actually running.
Memory card saves are cross compatible as always.
Save states are cross-compatible with the same revision ID, main reason why it is included in the about menu.
Sorry guys just playing around so not the best quality.
I will try and crop future ones etc, and find a tool which records audio as well.
Just a quick demo of the Luigi's Mansion into.

Is there anyway I can rotate the video back to landscape by editing the ini files?
The issue with the video being in portrait mode is specific to Adreno devices currently. Mali devices don't have the issue.
I'm still looking in to trying to fix the issue but there is a good chance that their drivers won't work correctly with how we push our graphics to screen.
