The emulator does not run with the OpenGL ES option. It just shows a black screen for an infinite amount of time. It does work, however, on the software renderer option, but at like 2 FPS. Is there an issue with OpenGl ES, the newest build of dolphin, or the HTC one? Is using OpenGL ES just not compatible yet with dolphin?
what video divers does your phone have, you can check from within dolphin by going into the about and opengl
Not exactly positive on what to look for so here are some screens to help out
sorry forgot to specify gles3 anyways it may or may not be the version of your drivers, but another thing is what games are you trying to play, I play smash bros melee on my g2 no problem but I tried playing pokemon colosseum and after the Nintendo/company logo it just remains on a black screen, if the game you are trying to play is available in my dumped list i'll give it a go and see if I get same results
Okay so I got as far as sound plays, like recognizable to whatever I'm doing, yet it's still blackscreen.
SL JPEG Viewer v0.16 & 0.17
Gamecube Test v0.4
both working with the Software renderer in 1415, L & R arent registering as pad input though.
Still blackscreen with OpenGL renderer.

Yes, The L and R buttons do not work. The L button works when mapping it to a physical button but I've never got the R working.

I'm so proud :') I got a shine in SMS using Dolphin Android

I had to do the first 3 shines on my computer because R does not work (No FLUDD) but I managed to do this one without FLUDD. I had to do lots of spin jumps to get to the secret cave

Man, how you can play with those fps and polygon distortions is beyond me lol
Off topic, I actually considered getting a surface pro 2 as my main tablet just to have a "mobile" version of dolphin.

The FPS actually isn't that bad in some levels. I think it was Ricco Harbour shine 2 where I had to go into a cave and inside the cave was ~15FPS compared to ~7FPS in Delfino Plaza. Super Mario Sunshine is a 30FPS game, so the cave is ~50% speed and Delfino Plaza is ~25% speed. And also considering that my phone isn't a high end phone, that's pretty impressive.

here's a tip depending on the game are playing changing the efb copy method to ram(uncached/cached) gives higher fps expecially in menus, I get around 35-45 fps in the smash bros melee menus/select a character, and 23-35 in game fighting against one cpu(the longer you play the hotter the phone so performance drops) I can manage around 40 mins game time before I let my device cool down

I have mine set to texture because it is the default for the desktop version and it looks a lot better than none. RAM is supposed to only be used when needed as it has a big slowdown compared to texture. For me, it does bring a slowdown. I don't know why it would be different for you, but whatever works best for you. My games don't slow down when my phone heats up, I have a custom kernel with a custom thermal manager

well I used to have a custom kernel but the one I used has not been entirely stabilized for kitkat(used to be on jb), as soon as it's stable again I will be able to oc my g2 and control heat better
