dolphin netplay
Netplay emulates "local" multiplayer, e.g. as if you and your friends were all sitting at the same console staring at the same TV.
Dolphin's wii-network branch emulates the Nintendo WFC, as in you can connect to their servers and battle people online (against real Wiis no less). This branch is not yet ready to be merged with the master branch for a few reasons at the moment.

So what you basically mean is there are builds that support Wi-Fi connectivity?

LordVador: Tried using it with Nintendo WFC in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii, doesn't work....
EDIT: tested on builds 3.5-339 and 3.5-1382
