You might what to ensure the bluetooth adapter won't have problems with multiple wiimotes either.

I'm also wondering if I need a sensor bar.

You would only use 1 adaptor, but some of the cheaper ones don't like lots of connections

It looks real cheap, not sure if it would be viable but if you guys think it will work I'm gonna buy 4 of them.
Reason I'm getting into this stuff is because I saw a really neat reddit thread, I'm gonna chuck my computer into a bitfenix prodigy (replacing the motherboard of course) and adding ports for the NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii and PS/PS2 (I'm gonna put all of these ports into where the disk drive should be since I don't use a dvd drive).
I looked and saw that I needed a sensor bar, whole project is gonna cost a fair amount (Probably not for most of the adults on here, but as a kid I don't get much money coming in, not many options for a 15 year old) so I'll need all the help I can get (Not monetary of course, just information
).Don't worry about the roms, I have a ton of old games from my older brother that I'm gonna back up, I've gotten really into this whole modding scene as of late and thought it would be a nice place to start ( I know you guys don't specialise in modding but it seems to be the best place for the Wii and Gamecube stuff, you guys seem to know what you're doing).
Thanks guys,
Jarod

The item was "blocked" here so it smells like something unofficial or such
. I recommend you to avoid unofficial stuff because they rarely (never?
) work with Dolphin. 3rd party Wiimotes suck.(06-18-2013, 07:50 PM)jarodwr Wrote: [ -> ]I looked and saw that I needed a sensor bar, whole project is gonna cost a fair amount (Probably not for most of the adults on here, but as a kid I don't get much money coming in, not many options for a 15 year old) so I'll need all the help I can get (Not monetary of course, just information).
You should get a wireless sensor bar even if it isn't needed for all games. But some games painfully work without one. Mine is pretty cheap (10.00EUR/13.50$) but works just fine

Does the sensor bar need a usb connection? What bluetooth dongle would be appropriate for a 4-way connection?

No. You can get a wireless sensor bar. Working with batteries.

Class 1 dongles are usually recommended for multiple Wiimotes. But I've seen some Class 2 dongles working pretty fine
