Addicts never quit :3 You think you can just replace the NES-shaped hole in your heart with a golf ball, but it's only a temporary fix until you can get your fix. One day, you'll feel the urge... to kill to game once again!
I can't believe Duke Nukem went from getting all of the best PC hardware before his current hardware was obsolete to not caring about PC hardware at all. This is very odd indeed. Smile

Lets just say that I'm more interested in golf clubs these days which have replaced my past hardware obsession.

However, due to the obvious differences between computer hardware and golf clubs I'm not gonna change clubs every year.
The reason for it is that you then have to play and adjust to a new set of clubs which takes some time.

I've only just begun to play decently with the Cobra S3 Max series clubs that I have and I hope that I can have them for quite some time and perfect them even.

But in order to advance with my golf in the future I'm gonna have to upgrade at some point, it's basically unavoidable.

The feel of a perfect swing, hitting the ball on the club's sweet spot, screaming "so long sucker" and see it fly away and land straight into the fairway is a feeling that can't be compared to anything else.

I wish I could say the same for my short game though because a few strokes extra isn't unusual. Sometimes even Pars and Bogeys feels like Birdies and I'm still waiting for my first Birdie to pop.
I've always betted on Duke but until you get those new golf clubs I might have to rethink that policy. I was this close to catching up to old economy Steve too.
Got my Green Card today and lowered my HCP to 41 due to that I have played a couple of rounds before and saved all the score cards.
I'm only 5 HCP away to lower myself to 36 which is official HCP and become an official golfer.

Soon I will put the days as an "amateur golfer" behind me. I put quotations on amateur golfer because even at 36 and lower HCP I'm an amateur compared to Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler etc.

I can never as awesome as them, but official golfer is official golfer and that is enough for me.

I wonder if it would be classed as suitable golf attire, funny tough I would love to come dressed as Vader to the CC one day. Perhaps in an orange Puma Vader outfit, yeah that would certainly cause some stir and excitement.
