Make sure you have both the "progressive scan" and "enable quantizers" turned off.
Incase somebody still needs this all in one place, the
SAVE FILE PROBLEM for NTSC version
requires the save file to be put in the directory:
[emulator folder]/User/Wii/title/00010004/524d4345/data/
That means that you should put the "rksys.dat" file in the /data/ folder.
The correct working NTSC save file (linked early in this thread; reposting for convenience):
LINK.
For me, the game runs well enough; actually, apart from slowdowns, I only have a few problems and none of them are critical.
- the black box;
- music on lap 3 stops (and sometimes resumes rendomly).
Otherwise the game is running mighty fine! Really, if I was to give a percentage of emulation on this one, I'd say it was 95% from perfect!

Yes thanks! that's what it was....im getting about 40 FPS....is that what you guys are getting playing?
kingb33,
in game, I'm normally getting 25-45 FPS (NTSC version).

hmm ok...i guess that it's normal then. I'm assuming when I play this on my Wii it's running at 60fps. It definitely "feels" slower on my PC
I guess MKwii is one of those rare games that actually run 60 FPS in-game on the actual console, yes.
no, on the wii every game runs 60 fps or 50 fps (60 being NTSC and 50 being PAL)

LuisR14,
really? Are you sure? I thought that, for example, Tatsunoko runs at 30FPS max, no?
yes it's like that

(but i'm not sure about the 30 fps remarks

, even though i've heard of it

)
LuisR14,
I've just confirmed that Castlevania Judgement NTSC runs at 30 FPS in fights and 60 FPS in menus only, too, which is normal for most console games. Please don't misinform. You know the FPS question is a sensitive issue with emulation of the modern consoles.
Most NTSC GameCube and Wii games apparently tend to run 60 FPS in the menu parts and 30 FPS in gameplay segments, 50/25 FPS respectively being standard for PAL versions of them.
Incase I'm still wrong, please correct me. I'm not trying to start a battle, I actually want to know this for certain myself and certainly am no pro on the subject.
