Try DX9
Ah, thank you, that explains it. After a little research, the Radeon HD 4890 is NOT DirectX11 compliant. Will switch back to DirectX9 tomorrow and report back... After I've done looking for a new graphics card which supports DirectX11 ^^

No problem at all with game (finally unlockd rosalina! yezah)

But controler actin weird.
It begin with wii settin (emulated)
but sometimes when i stop for some times and come back, it switch to Gamecub control set up Oo
And i have no freakin idea why since its wii version.
Is there a way to start with Gamecub settin (since tricks more easy to do with it) ???

The HD 4890 does support DX10. The DX11 Dolphin backend supports both DX10 and DX11, this means you can still use it. DX9 is still probably going to work better, so try that.

Although it solved the problem with crashing, Dx9 actually performs WORSE than Dx11 even with copy to RAM enabled, I am only getting 16-40fps, and averaging 27, for me, Dx11 is much more smoother. I hope Dx11 is optimized more soon...

You mention running rv7171 I am running rv7590 "from the main download page" and looking at your settings screen shots a few pages back I see lots of missing options from the rv7570 especially the games properties one. The version you are running looks allot more flexible.

Is it a particular compilers version or did you patch it or put plugins to get those settings or is that the same one we can download off the archive ?

Thanks in advance.

youxid

Yesterday I started to play with Dolphin but in Mario Kart does the Xbox 360 controller is not right I can fire any items.
When I play Mario Kart: Double Dash for GameCube everything works perfect.
What am I doing wrong? I use an incorrect setting?
I hope someone can help me I really want to play Mario KartSmile
Sincerely youxid
Hi

I've got serveral questions about this game ...

In normal mode, everything is ok ...

But in time trial with or without the gohost, I've got only 40 fps ...
Is it normal ? .

I just saw on page 71 someone who had the same problem ...

A fix for that or it's like that for everyone ?

Thanks
eyy guys,

I have mario kart wii too and i was just wondering why the screens after the player select screens are so laggy. i was also wondering why the grand prix mode and the cup selector screen are verry laggy and after that it runs with every screen resolution 30 fps while the time trialmode runs at every screen resolution 60 fps. really someone has to get to work with this emulator again on this game. iam using the standard settings and reversion 7634. if i havnt the right settings then pm me with the right one. thanks
Time trial mode always works fastest, for Mario Kart Wii and Double Dash, so there's not much you can do.
As of June 2011, what is your favorite revision to play this game? I really can't seem to get full speed in Dolphin 3.0, and I was wondering if you had any favorites. I'm wondering which revisions have the best performance to date.
