you should give me your config...i dunno what to do to get better speeds... revison, config and plugin pls?

Your graphic card is a nvidia 6150, pretty much outdated.

You need to change the graphic card if you want playable speed in Mario Kart Wii, some people may say that graphic card isn't important for Dolphin but it IS very important too.

well, that came with my mobo so yeah it's onboard...you mean if i switch to a 9800gt i'll get better performance?

A faster graphic card will definitely help but it also depends on the cpu so it doesn't bottleneck the card, the Intel E8200 is better than the Athlon 64 X2 4600+ even if they run at the same speed 2.6 GHz so you might not get the same results as i did.

But first thing first, you should get a new graphic card since integrated cards aren't meant for gaming.

so yeah... Smile thx for the suggestion
Hey Guys,

I'm getting a black screen when I try to do race vs. (2 players), sound is on. It is weird because I can do battle play (2 players)... I don't remember if it is NTSC or PAL version.... has anyone experianced this...?

TIA

I had long been trying to emulate this game

Thanks for the help
Why are you having that black map problem ? Use some revision, preferrably 5163 (earlier than 5195,they say it's unstable)
Code:
Wii options:
dual core enabled
idle skipping enabled
HLE the IPL
JIT recompiler
framelimit : OFF <- important !!

D3D plugin with :
safe texture cache : fast
EFB scaled copy
EFB copy to texture

DSP-HLE plugin :
all options enabled, except RE0 hack
audio backend : Dsound

Don't use OpenGL !
yeah that black box was fixed way back.
change your settings

if I disable OpenGL and activate the plugin Direct3D9 with your configuration. I get the screen totally black Sad

and more graphics, everything perfect ^ ^

Thank you very much

Okay so after mucking around with the settings for a while, I managed to get the game to run perfectly in race mode (60FPS) with very few glitches (the transparent blue box and a few dropped frames). The menu however is still glitchy, the mii doesn't show up properly on the license selection screen and none of the characters or vehicles display properly. I found turning off quantize optimizers fixes this, but doing so drops my framerate to about 40. Using d3d9 btw. Any solutions?

specs:
win7 64-bit - intel i5 CPU @ 2.4GHz
8GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
optimize quantizers ? what your dolphin revision anyway(4771 ).Try update newest one (52xx on SVN rev ) the character's display must be correctly with d3d9 ,also try the release candinate "RC1" on dolphin main site
