i tried it now, it runs 50-60 fps (SVN 4986, best revision so far) in single player Smile, maybe in recent revision it would work better

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad q8200 @ 2.33GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: Radeon hd 4650 (1GB)

i run it fine ,frame limit 60 FPS because some game gave me extra FPS,run 30FPS in multiplayer,here the image capture

The trick is not needed anymore in current builds, since the function got changed etc..
However older builds (e.g. r4717) with the savestate hack applied are around 10-20% faster @mario kart than current builds.
are you sure it was 4717 cuz i downloaded it,tried mario kart with savestat hack and i get graphical errors Sad

the 4717 had old graphic plugin (perhap it playable with somegame) but this game will cause blur-screen in opengl ,recommend u download 5xxx with opengl plugin setting with EFB copy to texture .If this is not work ,may be u need to purchase new graphic card (9800gt or 280gt..5xxxati radion ...or so)
9800gt is perfect for dolphin Big Grin.
Sometimes I might drop frames on say, Rainbow Road, but gameplay isn't hindered at all. Dropped frames simply don't interfere which is great.

Although staff ghosts have a tendency to completely fail, which leads me to believe that any ghosts saved on Dolphin would not work if transferred to a real wii, lol.

Now I'm trying to use bikes...I can unlock expert ghosts with karts, but I just plain suck with bikes, lol.

Edit: I tried the latest 5xxx version and it worked but ingame, when driving the FPS (10-15, and every 1second ingame takes 2-3 second IRL) is horrible. But at menu's etc I get fps from 30 to 50.

My PC is Q6600 O'Ced at 2.7ghz and 8800GT

opengl sucks for me....runs at least 10 frames slower than dx9 and in latest revs it's even worse lol
D3D and OpenGl have alittle difference for me (about 2-3 FPS but opengl have more accuracy graphic so rarely use D3D) .Besides the fact opengl is good for Nvidia,D3D good for both Nvidia and ATI

tried again it works well...i get good fps but the big downside that makes me ditch opengl again is that the screen freezes every 2 seconds and then unfreezes immediately but it's just plain annoying >_<
