It's certainly a good thing that pirates are both very dumb and have poor grammar, makes detecting them alot easier.

Sorry for the noob question, but what is a savestate hack? Whatever it is, does it make this game run faster?

you mean "projection hack" right ,it use to make game more comparable(playable) not increase any speed of your ,open dolphin - rightclick game file-properties
Here is a bat file which increase your speed if you have little ram left
Open Text file
Copy here:
TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
start /high /wait DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe

Save as speed.bat or anything.bat and put that file into dolphin folder and run it
Note :if you not use dolphinIL.exe please change to dolphin.exe

AHM you mislead my word ,it not the hack it kill explorer.exe and only work with weak system

The savestate hack made Mario Kart work with the "quantize optimizers" options in earlier builds. Enable quantize optimizers @mariokart, and then just simply create a savestate while your at the map selecting screen. Start the race now and you won't get a black map anymore. Speeds were way faster @1280x720, as good as fullspeed.
The trick is not needed anymore in current builds, since the function got changed etc..
However older builds (e.g. r4717) with the savestate hack applied are around 10-20% faster @mario kart than current builds.

nice speed with r5000 but i haven't full speed yet.Maybe my pc too low

1 player 40/45 fps
2 player 30/35 fps

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6 Ghz
3 gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT 1 Gb RAM

Direct 3d plugin,JtIL.

Anyone with my cpu (or similar)that have more fps?

I'm getting great speeds with this game on R5028.
I've only got this game recently though, so I don't know if this is a known issue or something recent, but I'm noticing a faint, blue square in the top left corner of the screen on some tracks.
I think it's happening because I'm using a resolution above 640 by 480, so it's a viewport error?
