I just tested r4858. Ector said some quantizers optimizations were temporarily disabled, so it may not be as fast as r4854, but definitely seems faster (40-60FPS in grand Prix, just stay in 1st place and FPS will be extra good cause of no CPU karts rendered in front of youWink) And the menu of course, doubling of the speed did wonders.

But what I really came here to post was that I notcied ghosts in time trials are now working, good job whoever's commit fixed this (rodolfoosvaldobogado?)

Anyway, isn't your screen darker when playing time trial now?

About darker screen, hmmm... some effects that were kinda screwed before and gave weird light-boxes issues in Rainbow Road seemed gone, the stage seemed pretty correct. It seemed to be a slight difference between OGL and Dx9
umm.. r4866 is very fast but i have again some graphic issues in some stages (see image) .i must use JTIL beacuse the JIT have more graphical problem.
Pity with the newest versions where they played around with the "optimize quantizers" i wont get fullspeed anymore, its faster than the old versions w/o optimizers enabled @gui, but it's around 20% slower than with the old versions where i enabled optimize quantizers (savestate hack needed else u will just get a black map etc., savestate hack is not needed anymore tho to get rid of the black map issue, buts its now slower than earlier with the savestate hack).
Same issue also affects Tales of Symphonia, which would easily run constant at 50fps, now it runs way slower with the recent versions.
I've finally tried with recent revisions and Grand Prix works at full speed Big Grin Sweet!

Recent rev like which one? I tried 4861 still the same.
I think he means 4867 by mamario
Woah, menus and some stages work fullspeed now. You can't stop the progress I guess.

I've got plans for the quantizers that should get them close to the old speed while still being accurate. but it might take a while before I get to that.
