now, with the latest build (4696), even the bottom right layer issue should be solved, giving the proper resolution to all the last quarter of the screen. (same should apply to the game using layer effects like minimaps, like zelda tp)
can some1 confirm this? (cant from my laptop ^^)
dunno exactly what you mean, however, the transparent boxes all over the screen in DX9 are still there for me...
i meant the box ive tagged as "blocky" on pic of page 32 of this thread. bottom right.
now it should be matching the resolution ure using, so no blocky anymore Smile
ah well...I still have more blocky things to concern about...as you can see in my post just above yours on page 32 ^^
So is there really such a big difference between using an ATI and an nvidia-card? :-|

I guess so! I have Nvidia 8800 and the game is unplayable (for me) with all the overlay crap on the screen. Looks like ATI users dont' have that?? Hopefully that information right there can lead to a fix!!
i hope so too!
maybe one of the devs has computers with one nvidia and one ati graphics card...I guess that one would be the one to find out how to fix it ^^
the maker of the hacks (1st blurry and last blocky quarter) has ati.
ive tested, and now the full resolution is applied during all the game (even the menus, which were in internal res before). same goes for the last quarter of the screem during the races, full resolution with perfect minimap too Wink
hm, strange...the menues were full rez for me with DX9 for quite a long time already...
did someone finally found a fix for the black box ?

i'm using 4688 ...
