from the game speed with d3d id say the game is heeeeavily gpu dependant, not cpu
the game with d3d is just like the wii counterpart, for the first time
Omg, i'm having an incredible performance with 4000+ revs! I got about 25-30fps with rev3971, but now with rev4205 i can get even 50fps in stages like Rainbow Road, Bowser's Castle...
I have an 8600gt, Core2Duo 4700 and 2gb RAM.

it works good here aswell, but keep having that memory grow bug around the exe.
sometimes after 2-3 circuits it grows up to 3gigs and becomes unplayable...
Get rid of your latest Catalyst drivers and install 9.3

Vista drivers will do just fine on Win7

i thought the catalyst drivers problem got fixed a while back??????
This game is now 100% Playable
Fine graphics 2, if i do say so myself.
