You can disable both Framelimit and Audio Throttle or set Framelimit : 30/40/60 FPS and disable audio throttle then see how it goes
Quote:the thing is only, with 25 fps the game always seems a little tiny bit laggy..do you feel that with your 30 fps, too?
Nope , game run smoothly
Basically when NTSC was designed as an idea, it was to be able to code colour information into a black and white signal so it could be picked up on a colour or black and white TV at a certain screen resolution. The best framerate to broadcast and receive NTSC reliably at with 1950s/60s technology was 30FPS. Because the British weren't happy with NTSC, PAL was designed to be NTSC, but with an extra system to get rid of some colour corruption if there was interference, and also at a higher native resolution. Because there was more data in the signal, they couldn't do it at 30FPS with their technology, but could at 25FPS, so did.

These systems stuck for years, although TV manufactures made their newer screens pick up and decode both signals. PAL60 was invented, which was PAL, but at 30FPS, but wasn't made the worldwide default because old systems stick. By the time console developers cared about any of this, there was a major difference in price for games worldwide, so kept their games incompatible to stop people buying a game in the USA and selling it in England for twice the price.

Please remind me if I've forgotten any important details.
Ok, just to go sure, my gpu fits on Z77 or Z68? To 100%?

@AnyOldName3: Nice description, thx
If you did mean to say GPU then it will fit in anything with PCIe, although will work best in something with PCIe3.0, which can be got for those chipsets.

If you meant CPU (which is the thing which changing chipset will affect) then I can tell you there is no way to get an AMD CPU to work in an Intel based board.
Which cooler would you recommend? I thought its the best to ask that here, where 50% of the users have an i5 2500k..Big Grin
Not that I have one, but I saw a corsair H series watercooler kit (H60/70/80/100 etc.) in a video, and it looked ridiculously easy to install, but is expensive. As long as you'll only OC your system to a sensible level it will be overkill.

Get an aircooler. The 2500K is extremely easy to overclock.

I would recommend the Gelid Tranquillo Rev2 or CM Hyper 212+/EVO.
Both will get you up to 4.5GHz stable. You can even reach 5GHz if you can keep your temps and voltage reasonable.
The Thermalright HR-02 Macho is also a good CPU cooler Wink Quiet and powerful.
i think im gonna buy the 2500k, z77 pro3 mainboard and the Gelid Tranquillo Rev2.

should fit..

What's wrong? Do you have a small case or something?
What case do you have?
