Hi everyone
I am getting a new pc build for dolphin and pc gaming in general and i would like some advice and help for this.

my budget is around 1000-1200 euro
i want dolphin to run well on this build, but general pc gaming as well.
IMPORTANT: and i like to mention that i want this to be as small, energy efficient and silent as possible.
Any help would be appreciated.

1. Small, energy efficient, and silent
2. Powerful
Pick one.

Cant i have something from bouth worlds? let's say i dont really need it to be that small but silent and power efficient?

You can try to make a "balanced" system sure. But you will have to give up some performance to do that. Typically the more powerful your hardware is the more space it takes up, the more power is consumes, the more heat it generates, the more cooling is needed to dissipate that heat, the more noise that cooling produces, and the more space that cooling takes up.
Please list any specific size (form factor), power consumption (measured in peak watts), and noise (measured in decibels) requirements you have for the system.
Quote:well around 30 db
200 - 300 watts
A dual core i3 with a low noise aftermarket cooler and a GT 430, GT 440, or GTS 450 is about the most you could do within those limitations. You could use a microATX board and case if you want it to be small. That will run dolphin REASONABLY well.

1. It's very expensive considering the parts.
2. Peak power consumption is definitely over 300 watts for that system. Although probably not by very much.
3. I doubt it stays below 30 db at load since most stock coolers are considerably louder than that.
ok well i see i cant have a build like that and play dolphin very well, i wanted to hook this pc up to my tv and i wanted it to be smaller to fit with the tv furniture,
but i think ill pass on that, instead can you recommend me a build in this price range that can run SMG 2 well?
