You're as good as ready.

Tonight I boot test everything in the case Big Grin

Not gonna lie though - the AC 13 Cooler, it says it's able to fit my mobo, but maybe not the m-ATX variant. Was a pain to get on, but the extra 15 degrees of cooling was worth it.
Hate to double post, but:

The PC is running perfectly. Couldn't be happier! Big Grin

Literally 2 seconds from windows login to the internet, with the SSD. Got the CPU up to 4.3 GHZ, and can't even hear the fans. Blu-ray plays beautifully, and just check out my windows performance index.

Spending the day getting stuff installed - will be posting dolphin pics / vids once I get it going.

Thanks for all the help guys!

*Edit* Gah, photo's too big. Well, I got a 7.7 on the low end of the index, so I'm more than happy with that.
Alright, I am bumping this thread to the top because I would rather bump an existing thread than create a new one. I really don't hope to upset anybody. I created an account specifically to ask your all your advice.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what PC Laptop I should by and it is driving me crazy. Considering that running Dolphin will probably be the most performance demanding activity I'll be doing, I ask, what is the best possible Laptop(s) that will run dolphin at full speed for Under $1500? Is there such a device? From what I hear CPU speed is most important and GPU isn't as important unless you want enhanced graphics. I was leaning toward the ENVY 17 but does anyone else have a better suggestion?

So my requirements are...
- Windows
- Laptop
- 15" Display or bigger
- Under $1500
- Has a Keyboard with a 10-key

Any laptop suggestions and why would be most helpful. I understand there is no "best" pc so just a number of good suggestions is all I ask. Thanks to all in advance.

Well, basically you should also be looking for the following:

4GB of RAM
3.3 or higher GHz CPU (4.0 would be optimum, but a lot of laptops don't hit that without overclocking) - make sure it's at least dual core!
Any GPU this generation (not integrated, though...) should carry you pretty well.

I'm no laptop guy, sorry - but those extra spec requirements should help you narrow things down.

Whoa, maybe I am overlooking something here. A laptop hitting 3.3 GHz? What laptop could hit that? The Intel i7 and the AMD Phenom II Laptops I see can't even hit 3.0. So it is pretty much impossible to run Dolphin at full speed on a laptop? maybe I am not understanding something

Intel i5 2540m or I7 2620M can hit 3.3-3.4ghz with Turbo Boost

Nvidia GT 540M can run 2011 games at high setting

But I think I5 2410M or i7 2630qm can handle dolphin just fine
Sager NP5160 is a cheap gaming laptop ,you may look for this one

Thanks man, I dont ever play normal PC games. I just like to play emulators. Which makes things hard because emulators require so much speed.

Hello. I am VorSybl and I like to play games. For 6 years I've had a AMD 3800+ dual core with 2 gig RAM and radeon x1950. Now I finally can get new technology

Tell me, will I be able to run dolphin games that I own already on new PC with these hardwares? And what about StarCraftII?

Vid card: nVidia Geforce GTX550 1GB
Processor: The i7 2600k intel
RAM: 4GIG

Many thanks
