To clarify, speed in PCSX2 wasn't an issue when I started using development builds as opposed to the stable release, it's just the fact that nothing works.
Also, while writing this post, I remembered a PS2 game I have which ran straight off the disk. However, I've had the PC port longer than the PS2 version, so forgot about it.
Guys you are all wrong about pcsx2 its a great emulator and really fast even on my amd phenom II 960T 4.3ghz and radeon 7850 2gb.I can press tab to set frame limit off and it shoots up to 200fps and more something dolphin couldn't do for me. Also the graphics are almost as good as dolphins besides the fact that alot of games are 4.3 and you have to enable a widescreen patch. Everygame I run so far is
Final fantasy X= superfast even at 6x resolution with widescreen patch FINAL FANTASY BEST RPG EVER
Kingdom hearts I love this game alot. = super lovely graphics at superfast speed with 6x resolution ,widescreen patch enable.
Gauntlet dark legacy. dolphins is better. still fast trough
Shadow of Colossus. sharper then ps3 version but no 3Dfeature. I can run at 6x resolution full speed.
Fatal Frame. I LOVE ASIAN anything. its a great horror game. Have the series on dolphin too. superfast 6x resolution
Silent hill 1 and 4. = superfast at 6x resolution. SILENTHILL IS WAY BETTER THEN Resident EVIL series creepy as hell zombies not scary to me.
As you can see pcsx2 is less demanding then dolphin. so why the hell did somebody say they cant even run on it..
am useing pcsx2 1.0.0 (r5350) its the fastest. I also tried the psp emulator PPSSPP it works good its the only one that works jcpsp never worked for me plus no need for java. who knew psp graphics could look so amazing.
So yea anybody who cant run the these emulators but can run dolphin something is seriously wrong.
If they've finally reached version 1, then they must have decided it has a tonne more accuracy now (or just like new numbers). The newest build I have is only r5037, so if it has actually become more accurate, I may try again with some of my games.

yea thats a good idea to download the version i mentioned, also remember that the version you got is not the latest.
remember all games may not run so you have to go to pcsx2 wiki to see compatibility on games that may need special settings to run
Weird, most games i have tried on pcsx2 work
you are simply out of luck.
More than 90% of games are supposed to work. Still not enough...

Again this is based on older revisions (about a year old now) but when I last checked PAL support for the games I won was 5%, while NTSC support was much more.
has anybody tried the PPSSPP emulator?
I did . It's developed by one of the co-founders of the Dolphin emulator
C++ is the future for PSP emu IMO . Heck , i don't like Java (Java is slow)
I've played Disgaea 2 for a bit of PPSSPP. Works flawlessly as far as I could tell, but it wouldn't play KH:BBS at all. I couldn't figure out how to get it to use the music files I've already decoded for Disgaea 2. I used to SDL port, which is basically the Android version on your computer. The interface isn't all that bad navigating solely with the mouse, and the animations were pretty nice additions. I couldn't figure out how to play my game in HD or fullscreen either, but at least it runs.
Ultimately, I hear the devs of PPSSPP want native decoding of AC3 files (they'll have to reverse engineer the codec first, but I'm sure they'll get it). Then sound would "just work". JPCSP is fine for now, but on Linux, it's a hassle to decode the files, so I'm looking forward to what PPSSPP will bring to the table. I think soon it will be better than JPCSP in many regards; I'll check back on it in a couple of months.
