Yeah, there's your problem.
The 32bits builds don't run as fast as the 64bits builds.

You should really get yourself a 64bits OS.
If you're a computer science/IT student, you should check if your school has a Dreamspark Premium subscription.
If they do, you can download it for free on DreamSpark.

Naw. I even used msconfig to disable anything uneeded, plus task manager to kill things to be sure. Thanks though!

So you can get a hit that significant from just a 32 bit os? Damn. I switched awhile back (the time frame kind of fits) because some of the software I use gives me fits on a 64-bit OS. Let me reinstall the 64 bit version and see if that matters.

I already did the work, so here are the images from the WW test Smile

Ah, thank you. The hit depends on the game and emulation. You're around 10~25FPS lower than a 64bits build with Wind Waker. (In contrary to your 38~42FPS less lol)
Those look about right. Your system should perform as it should if you go back to 64bits.
Yes, those results are a little higher than they were yesterday but I have been tinkering with my overclock so that may have had a small effect.

The 3 "games" I am most concerned about are TP, Mario Kart Wii and the Mario Party Series. As it sits now none of these run full speed with LLE. Hopefully the 64-bit OS will assist with that.

I wonder why Dolphin is the only program with this issue
Because Dolphin is most likely the only CPU intensive program you are running. PC games are not CPU intensive.
Yeah. I dont really play any PC games. I really just use this computer for emulation of my game systems from NES all the way to Dolphin, PCSX2 and JPCSP.

I am going to format in a few and salivate at the performance difference Smile
GARTEAAAAALLLLLLLL!

Have my babies...lol

Seriously though: installing the 64 bit OS added approx 30 FPS on all 3 saves. Freaking sweet! I owe you one :p
What ! I didn't believe that 64 bit could make that much of a difference . Learned something today
Perhaps it has something to do with no frame limit? XD
I didnt think the difference would be so pronounced anyway. Dont look at it in a raw 30 FPS, look at it as a 8-10% increase in performance. which I believe to be significant.
