Is it possible for me to run Dolphin Emulator on my phone? My specs are:
moii e966
Android 4.1.2, Quad-core
Qualcomm S4 8225Q, 1.2GHz
1G of RAM
Dolphin Emulator 4.0-260
Dual core checked
JIT Arm Recompiler
No input device
Video Backend: Software Renderer
Does not support OpenGL ES 3 (according to Dolphin)
I pulled the specs from my phone and from here: http://www.fetnet.net/cs/Satellite/Device/deHsIntroDetailP?csId=3000005973295&selectKind=Spec (it‘s in Chinese, but the main components are written in English). Unfortunately, I cannot locate information about my video card.
What I've got happening is I can see Prince of Persia Sands of Time in the games list, but when I load it, it is just a black screen for about a second or two, then it returns to the games list. Is this possibly just an issue with my iso being in the wrong folder or something or is it because my phone does not have the right specs, e.g., OpenGL ES 3, too slow a processor, etc.? If someone could please help, I‘d be most appreciative. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Im afraid to say but your hardware is just not up to the task. Software rendering will always be horrendously slow. Without Open GL ES3 support its really a non starter. Even machines with a recent processor eg Snapdragon 800 and Open GL ES 3 support cannot run games at more than about 50% speed at best.

Heh, sad. And here I thought I had been getting a steal on a quad-core phone. Alas, thanks.
BTW, sonic, was your response to me as well?

Wii games work, and some light wii games work at decent speeds since they work with JIT ARM recompiler. There is no input support for Wii games yet, so there's not much you can do with them currently. The best version to run would be the latest ones, downloaded here: https://buildbot.dolphin-emu.org/builders/release-android

FAQ
What file types are supported?
- GCM, ISO, GCZ, WBFS, DOL, ELF, DFF
Why don't you support zip files?
- The same reason why desktop Dolphin doesn't support games in zip files. Zip files don't allow random file access, which is required. Use GCZ or WBFS if you want to use a compressed format.
It just crashes on my phone, what's wrong?
- If you have 512MB/1GB of RAM in your phone, it may or may not work. Depending on game it may just crash, this could be a problem with either the phone not being capable of running the game, or potentially the video software backend crashing out.
Thanks for the information really helpful
