sco4ield: You're going to be wasting your time and very disappointed if you think you can do anything useful with this yet.
Also you will most definitely want the Galaxy s4 i9505 over the Galaxy s4 i9500

Questions Huh
1) Something is wrong in the emulation that causes Wii games to jump to a zero address(PC = 0x00000000) I've yet to look in to it since I don't care for Wii games.
2) Galaxy S4 i9500 won't ever play Dolphin Mobile at reasonable speeds. I can't support the PowerVR 544MP3 in it.
3) The Galaxy S4 /is/ a good phone no matter how you look at it. As for a good phone that will run Dolphin at the good speeds, a phone isn't capable of this. A Snapdragon 800 phone(Sony Xperia ZU, Motorola X Ultra) will perform better and hopefully include newer drivers that aren't buggy garbage. The Samsung Note 3 and new Samsung Cromebook coming up will be a Octa with a Mali GPU, which that should perform better than current devices since I'm betting the drivers will be better off than Qualcomm's garbage.
4) Connecting a Wiimote to a Android device no longer works since Android 4.2. Google has changed the Bluetooth API and I think its HID layer eats the bluetooth connection at all times now? So at this point, Dolphin mobile can't connect to wiimotes.
^^^^^^^^ That Sony Xperia Z Ultra looks like a beast of a device. If it wasn't for the lack of a flash and a p!ss poor battery id consider getting one. Still by the time it comes out in September there will be other choices. Lovely looking device though..
I have a rooted US Cellular Galaxy S4 (SCH-R970), and I can't get Dolphin to run stably.

For one, Dual Core always hangs, no matter what. I've tested SSBM, SMS, and Pokémon Colosseum.

Second, OpenGL ES3 always crashes or hangs too. I've used SManager to make a script that disables the buggy kernel features, and that doesn't seem to have any effect. Yes, the script runs as root. My driver version is 14, and Dolphin confirms OpenGL ES3 compatibility.

Also, the software renderer crashes on Pokémon Colosseum when the Nintendo logo starts to fade out.

EDIT: Sorry, meant to post in the OpenGL ES3 thread. However, the Dual Core hangs and Software crashes still apply.

Hello,

I bought a Shield with Nvidia "Tegra-4"

Tegra 4 Custom 72-Core Nvidia geforce GPU Quad-Core ARM A15 CPU with 2GB RAM
With a micro SD "extreme pro" 64 GB card with 93Mb / s read.
I wish I could have your opinion Smile
What do you think, have you tested?

I have not tested it yet because I receives the machine next month in Canada.

Thank you in advance.
Sonicadvance1 won't be able to get Dolphin to work on the Tegra 4 unless he has access to the device. Buy him a Nvidia Shield and he'll be able to.

Just picked up a shield im excited to test this new dolphin program out! Any confirmed titles that are working for this version yet?
