For those of you that care, Windows 7 has been RTM'd, meaning they are starting mass production of the DVD's to be ready for general release on Oct. 22. MSDN subscribers will get it on August 6th.

Official build number is 7600.16385.090713-1255

hum, I see no statement directly from Microsoft saying that is the official rtm buildstring. I'll wait and get it on msdn Smile

ya ya sure.. ya ive seen screenshots and all it seems different are the screenshots. ill test it out later to see if its faster

I can confirm , RTM is out and actually running on my PC as principal Os .
x64 Ultimate , of course !
