i've played xenoblade on dolphin 3.5 stable ver. for a while. Xenoblade run just perfect on it. Sometimes, it rarely drops some fps, but it doesn't matter because it's always above 20fps(Pal ver). The problem here is sound crack which is pretty annoying. Someone says that if the specs can maintain stable fps without dropping, sound crack won't happen. But it usually happens whether the fps drop or not. I don't really know why it happen. I've tried many builds but i realised those ver. are not stable, fps usually drops suddenly although it has fixed sound problems. LLE is too much demanding that my corei3 cannot handle. So, are there any patch for 3.5 stable ver that can fix sound problem for xenoblade. Any helps from you guys will be highly appreciated.
P/s: sorry for my bad English

This doesn't apply to 3.5.

This is where it applies, to the latest development versions.

There are no patches that takes slow processors and makes them faster. Getting a faster CPU or overclocking is the only answer.

thanks for the answers, i mean like dolphin 3.0, are there any patches that fix sound glitch for xenoblade which use on dolphin 3.5. And what difference that make other builds more demand than the stable version? I think stable ver. has perfect performance except sound problem

Recent builds (as of 3.5-78) have new AX-HLE (thanks to delroth

): it fixes a lot of sound issues in GC/Wii games but you need to
run games full-speed to get the sound to work properly.
Thanks to new AX-HLE sound issues are almost fixed in Xenoblade. That's why you should use latest builds for this game
What you wanted to happen has happened, the developers have fixed the sound in many games (and you indicated that it fixed the problem in the game you're playing), only now you need a bit faster CPU to run the game at full speed. If you're not able to run the game at full speed, you're going to have issues. The game will run well if you're able to run it well. If you're not, then it won't. Emulator improvements are applied to the latest versions, they're not applied to old versions.
@LordVador - You should probably mention that new-ax-hle was merged twice into master. The first (3.5-78) fixed GC audio exclusively when running the AX ucode. I forget exactly which revision fixed the Wii version of the AX ucode (3.5-11XX maybe). Xenoblade's audio didn't improve until very recently with the second merge.

Yep 3.5-1154 .

You're right. I should've mentioned there had been 2 versions of AX-HLE.
And once again: let's thank delroth for his great job

thanks all, so the problem here is my CPU. So sad because it almost work perfectly in 3.5, it seemed that when i used other builds, there are more tasks for my CPU and it cannot handle anymore. OK, so i found the problem, i heard someone said corei5 is almost perfect for dolphin so i will upgrade to corei5, R.I.P my old core i3

Yeah but it will depend on which i5 processor

And which mobo you will buy (any Z77 mobo is ok) to overclock the i5 3570k
If you're on a small budget , you can get either i5 3330 or i5 3450 + Asrock Z77 Extreme 3/Extreme 4/Pro 4 mobo (Asrock Z77 is a must because only Asrock mobo has no-k OC function)
If you wait till June 2013 , you will be able to get the next gen Haswell i5 4670k + Z87 mobo
