where have you been? i7 965 is stupid. it's an extreme with unlocked multipliers, but it you don't know how to overclock, it's kinda pointless. a 920 can reach the same oced speeds so I don't see what's the point.

dolphin doesn't even use more than 1gb of ram, let alone 12. Kingston is a overpriced brand imo. speed and timings only help 5% at most in real world benches.

Sli? for what? It does nothing for dolphin. A 9600gt could run dolphin just fine.

im not telling anyone to buy that most of the people here dont have the money 4 that but thast my system man and i can run every game and program know to the human race with no problem at all
manaurys, what motherboard do u have?
Guys, I don't think power is the real reason why it's not running so well. The emulators themselves are still in very early stages. As time goes on and the emulator improves, I'm sure a modest rig should be able to handle it.

Plus, it might depend on the resolution you're using. I'm playing Fire Emblem for map making and I'm just running it at 640 X 480 with a very smooth 40+ frames. Speed wise, it feels almost on-par with the actual game. Before, I was getting <30 frames and I was still using the same computer.

if it isn't oced, it can't run everything, and is an absorbent waste of money.
