Hi there!
In collaboration with Smashboards (and I'll probably be drawing on WiiBrew as well), I am starting a project to create a more powerful matchmaking platform for Wii games. Possible inclusions are: Ranked matches, built-in audio chat, P2P overlay for scalability, and others. Development would initially be tailored for SSBB, but after that works, it can be branched out to cover the other games.
Since netplay on Wii seems to be a feature request that floats around here often, I would like to know if folks here would like to collaborate on figuring out the WFC protocol and/or plugging into our system when it's alive.
