My CPU is only a couple of hundred MHz below his, and I have to put up with 20-30 FPS in SMG.
Something is definitely wrong on your pc, there is no way you can ever get 30 fps in any part of the game !
Just think for a second, if what you are saying were true, then it would mean SMG2 would require 6ghz overclock, and we all know that is not the case.
A) I meant 30-45, but for some reason wrote completely the wrong number.

B) I've got dump textures on, which has some effect.

C) This still doesn't mean that your CPU isn't being magic.
Well what do you get without dump textures ?
If you want post a screenshot of some area where you get lowest fps, explain where it is / how to get there, and then I will check it out / post a screenshot, so we can figure out what is going on
Quote:Thats not true.
If you said his cpu won't be able to run it fullspeed 100% of the time, that would be correct, but the way you phrased it is completely wrong and incorrect !
Leave his CPU performance aside
His GPU is too weak for the 2 GPU intensive games :SMG , Zelda SS anyway

I'd humour you, but as I'm going to get a new CPU + motherboard in less than 2 months, and I don't feel a need to play SMG right this second, it isn't worth the bother for me to try and do stuff.
