It's not smart to compare a PC game with emulation anyway
Quote:the problem is the gpu backends could be optimized a little better
No. The problem is that no GPU available at moment is capable of 4xIR and 9x SSAA in Dolphin, and this isn't lack of optimization. SSAA is veeeery demanding and your GPU can't handle it, so, use a different AA setting or another backend instead of complaining about something we already answered a lot of times in the entire topic.
It's as if he didn't read any of our posts:

NaturalViolence Wrote:It's 144x (12x scale in each direction). That means you're rendering the game at 144 times the resolution that it is rendered at on the GC/Wii. That's 48.66 megapixels (1080p is 2 megapixels).
NaturalViolence Wrote:Try running crysis 2 at 7680 x 6336 which is the internal resolution that you're running dolphin at. I promise that you will not be able to achieve 10 fps on that card. You'll be lucky to get 4 fps on low settings.

I don't know how that could be any clearer.

I'm going to have to write a WoT post sooner or later on this.
Hahahaha Xp

It will have a significant difference due to much higher memory bandwidth . I know some Dolphin users that have i5 3570k + GTX 670 / 7950
Their GPUs can handle 4xIR + 4x SSAA fine on most games
There is 1 user claim that his GTX Titan (was 1000$) can handle 4xIR + 9xSSAA

Quote:What if i get another radeon 7850 and crossfire it will i then be able to achieve 4xIR + 4xSSAA ??
No, dolphin does not use crossfire
Dual GPU cards , SLI , Crossfire are useless with Dolphin

Well, my pc can run all gamecube and also wii games with every graphics at max

i7-3770k

No ... Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) of Direct3D11 is less demanding than AA (SSAA) of Direct3D9 . Try Super Mario Galaxy or Xenoblade with Direct3D9 backend : 4xIR , 9x SSAA , 16x AF and see what will happen . I bet you will get bad result
